Plan your next career move with us. We’re offering a great opportunity for a Transport Planner to join our team in our Kilcronagh depot in Cookstown. Utilise your skills everyday to support our business to deliver a ‘service you can trust’ by assisting the transport team in the planning and routing of vehicles for deliveries and collections through NI and ROI.
What you’ll do:
- Planning deliveries and collections for a team of local drivers.
- Creation of load lists for next morning deliveries.
- Monitoring of driver’s collection notes ensuring accuracy.
- Ensuring all contracts for deliveries are signed and received in a timely fashion.
- Liaise and communicate with other departments.
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery and collection requirements.
- Processing on-hire and off-hires on our hire system.
- General transport administrative duties.
What you’ll need:
- Previous planning experience would be preferable but applicants with a strong administration background will be considered.
- Strong communication and organisation skills.
- The ability to work under pressure in a busy fast paced office.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Customer focused attitude with excellent telephone etiquette.
