Join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for testing and inspecting hire equipment to ensure it meets safety and quality standards before rental. With attention to detail and a commitment to safety, you’ll be able to provide high-quality equipment and help with general yard duties as required.
What you’ll do:
- Perform thorough testing and inspection of equipment, to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure they remain in optimal condition. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of all tests, inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs performed on equipment. Ensure that all documentation is complete and compliant with industry regulations.
- Ensure that all equipment complies with safety regulations and standards.
- General yard duties as required to include assisting with the loading and unloading of machinery.
What you’ll need:
- Construction or agricultural experience would be desirable. Preference will be given to candidates with a mechanical background.
- Strong understanding of machinery and equipment and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a small team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and equipment.

Hours of work: Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 5pm & Friday 7.30am – 4pm plus 1 Saturday every 3 weeks from 7.45am – 12.30pm

Salary: £11.50 – £13.50 per hour
