KDM Hire was established in 1990 and celebrated 20 years in business in January 2010. Based in Cookstown, in the heart of Northern Ireland, the business was founded by Keith McIvor to provide a quality hire service to the local area. Since these humble beginnings KDM has grown to become one of the top 100 rental companies in the UK and has won numerous awards for quality, service and customer care.

Plant & Tool Hire

We offer a large variety of non operated plant and tools for hire ranging from drills and lawn mowers through to 13t excavators, rollers and dumpers. Other products include traffic management equipment, pumps, lighting towers, scaffolding, welding equipment and temporary fencing.

 

We also hire an extensive range of material handling equipment for industrial or construction applications including forklifts, telehandlers and skid steer loaders.

Specialist Hire

Since 1999 we have developed a number of specialist hire divisions to cater for the specific needs of our customers requiring products outside the scope of our normal plant and tool hire range. Each division is managed independently within KDM and offers a full range of products to ensure our customers are provided with the complete hire service.

Event Rental

KDM Hire also offers an extensive range of equipment suitable for hosting almost any event. We can offer a one stop solution whether it’s a sporting event, concert, festival, social occasion or private party.

Transport

From our depots in Cookstown and Belfast, we service customers throughout Northern Ireland on a daily basis. A modern fleet of purpose built vehicles supported by a dedicated transport team ensures your equipment arrives on time.

 

Vehicles include 3.5t pick-up with tail-lifts, 7.5t & 26t beavertail trucks, 45ft Low-loaders and both rigid trucks and tractor units fitted with Hiab cranes.

KDM Hire are fully committed to safety, providing the highest quality equipment available. Every piece of equipment is rigorously tested and checked before each hire to ensure it is free of faults and ready to use.

To guarantee reliability and safety on site, our fleet is maintained to the highest standards by an experienced team of factory trained service engineers backed by an unrivalled spare parts and service department. All equipment is examined, tested and certified, complying with all current regulations and industry criteria.

 

For on-site maintenance and in the unlikely event of a breakdown, our fleet of fully equipped vans and technicians are always on stand-by.
